The eDiscovery Buyers Guide is a "solo to midsized law firm shopper's handbook for eDiscovery tools & services" as they describe themselves. The 2019 version of the book written by Brett Burney (Burney Consultants LLC) and Chelsey Lambert (Lex Tech Review) has been published in May this year. Now, the makers have created video reviews for the solutions.

"Will a robot take my job?" is one of the main questions that often gets asked in the context of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Our view on it is that it is the combination of human and machine is the key to success. There are a lot of repetitive tasks where robots can fully support humans so that humans can focus on more strategic tasks. Just recently, our CTO Johannes Stiehler talked about robots at the Future Lawyer Week event in London.

However, his talk has a different angle than answering the standard question - he is focusing on the topic "Why should we bother with robots at all?".

Summer events have started for ayfie. Just recently, we attended the IGNITE2019 conference in Oslo, an event for revolutionary ideas in industry and technology. The conference was all about the Fourth Industrial Revolution, where industry and tech reimagine work together and how.

Our Chief Scientist Franz Guenthner had a speaking role and spoke about the "Steps towards semantic search and text analytics". In this blog post, we summarize the key findings of his lecture for everybody who missed it.
