ILTACON is just around the corner. Starting this Sunday, our whole team will be jam-packed, presenting ayfie's sophisticated text analytics solutions at booth #702. As our product suite is focused on the legal sector, ILTACON is a significant event for us. We've attended for many years, and it's fair to say we know our way around. Hence, we thought it would be a good idea to compile a checklist for visiting ILTACON 2019 for all ILTA newbies and all attendees who have a lot on their plate and want to get a quick overview of what to think about before starting the trip.
So, here you go - the ultimate last-minute ILTACON event checklist for visitors:
- Pack enough business cards. They are essential, and you will need them for networking.
- Print your ticket or make sure you have it at least on your phone.
- Charge and pack your power-bank. Trust us; you'll need it.
- Dress code: It's usually smart-casual at ILTACON. If you're representing a company and have branded T-Shirts, it might be a good idea to wear them.
- Pack your sports clothes if you fancy taking part in ILTACON's morning sports program (yoga, zumba, running).
- Bring comfy shoes as you will be walking and standing a lot.
- Get an overview of all the exhibitors you want to meet. Here is a summary of all of them.
- Set up meetings with the exhibitors you're most interested in, e.g., with us here :)
- Get familiar with the event agenda beforehand to make sure you're not missing out on any session you want to see.
- Check out the evening networking events that ILTACON offers.
- Some exhibitors might also run their networking events during ILTACON. Check out their websites to find out where you might be able to get a seat.
- Twitter: Follow ILTACON's account @ILTACON as well as the hashtag #ILTACON19.
- Connect with other visitors before you show up (e.g., on Twitter or LinkedIn) to make the most of this brilliant networking opportunity.
