VirtualWorks Group AS appoints Siw Ødegaard as CFO

VirtualWorks Group, a leading provider of smart search solutions and semantic analysis, has appointed Siw Ødegaard as CFO.

Oslo, Norway, July 10, 2017: VirtualWorks Group AS, the Norwegian based holding company of VirtualWorks and ayfie, has appointed Siw Ødegaard as CFO. VirtualWorks Group is strengthening its executive management to prepare the company for its expected growth in the quickly developing smart search solutions and semantic analysis market segments.

VirtualWorks’ highly scalable technology, R&D capacity, proven products and customer base positions the company for further growth. A recent private placement of NOK 95 million combined with positive cash flow in the VirtualWorks business unit further secures the company’s growth strategy.

Siw Ødegaard has extensive experience within finance, investor relations, as well as mergers & acquisitions. Siw most recently served as EVP of mergers & acquisitions, investor relations and public relations of the Oslo Exchange listed company Link Mobility Group ASA. She also garnered experience as a previous CFO of Link Mobility Group ASA, a consultant and as Board member.
